Une annonce improbable, quelques rudiments de mesmène, un soupçon d'audace, et voici Thomas Lagrange, serveur au McDo, propulsé en tête des best-sellers. Tout irait pour le mieux s'il n'avait pas un coeur d'artichaut et la mafia mesmène à ses trousses...
Je me suis marré à chaque page de ce livre mais ce n'est pas tout. On trouve ici une vraie histoire avec du suspens et une originalité rare, des personnages un peu loufoques mais au final crédibles et attachants, une satire sans méchanceté des critiques littéraires parisiennes, et plein d’autres choses que j’invite les autres lecteurs à découvrir. Vraiment, ces romans-là, aussi drôles et bien menés, je les ai plus trouvés écrit par des écrivains anglais (David Lodge, Nick Hornby, William Boyd...) et je suis content de voir que la littérature française est capable d’en produire. De plus, j’ai vérifié sur Internet tout ce qui est dit sur les terres rares, et il se trouve que c’est vrai ! Ça donne à réfléchirà
